About Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald
Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald is a licensed optometrist with nearly two decades of experience providing comprehensive eye care to patients throughout Central Florida. She has practiced in the region since 2006 and is the founder and owner of ClearVue Eyes, a boutique optometry practice located in Lake Mary, Florida.
Dr. MacDonald is dedicated to helping patients see clearly and live fully through personalized, thoughtful eye care. She believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s visual needs, lifestyle, and long-term eye health goals. By combining advanced diagnostic technology with a warm, patient-centered approach, she ensures every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.

The Doctor Behind ClearVue Eyes
Originally from Connecticut and raised in South Florida, Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald earned her undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University and her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She provides comprehensive eye exams, diagnoses and manages ocular disease, fits specialty and custom contact lenses, and offers refractive surgery consultations. She also holds certification to prescribe both therapeutic and oral medications.
Dr. MacDonald lives in Maitland with her husband, three children, and two dogs. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family at local beaches, theme parks and cheering from the sidelines at her children’s sporting events.
